At least six people died and a dozen others injured when a cylinder exploded within the premises of District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital Attock on Monday. DCO Attock, Rana Akber Hayat said due to the blast a portion of the hospital collapsed resulting in causalities.

Rescue services said the cylinder explosion damaged a portion of the woman's ward and multiple people are feared trapped in the rubble.
